SKY-Z Mini Wind & Solar Lab Kit

Students learn the fundamentals of power generation, aerodynamics, and more by harnessing the power of their environment. They'll put together and experiment with a mini wind turbine, adjusting pitch angles of the 6" blades to generate as much power as they can. When the breeze dies down, they can sub in the powerful solar panel, allowing them to compare the strengths and weaknesses of wind and solar power in varying environments. Classroom-quality 7.2-volt solar panel is powerful and includes alligator clips for universal use in almost any project. Students can power up an LED light, sound a buzzer, and test the success of their work with a multimeter. Kit includes all necessary parts for 1 ea SKY-Z Mini Turbine, DC Generator, and Solar Panel, and digital access to course curriculum. Full contents list is below.
