From animals with glowing eyes to custom cards that light up, students create unique projects while learning about circuits and art. Through trial and error, students discover the difference between the negative and positive sides of a battery and the effects they have on the LED. They start out by tracing a paper template onto construction paper and draw a circuit path on it. Trace the path with conductive tape, add an LED on one end and a battery on the other, and watch what happens! Kit includes paper templates to encourage creativity, and teachers can print the templates that work best for their lessons. Additional templates available online. Kits includes enough items to make 25 projects including 3 rolls of conductive tape, 25 batteries, 120 LEDs, and 25 clips. Recommended for Elementary and up.
