Combine multiple STEM concepts as students build and teach a personalized humanoid robot how to walk, see, and hear while interacting with it!
Powerful robotics software guides students through complex technologies, making them easy to learn while constructing a robot and writing code. Students use the EZ-Builder app on a PC, iOS device, or Android device to program JD to grab an object, walk, dance, or even do a headstand based on triggers such as seeing a person’s face or hearing a voice command. Students can use the nine LEDs in each eye to create up to 1 million color combinations to create animated patterns or expressions. There is also a camera in the robot’s head that can track and learn colors, faces, motion, and much more. Three easy-to-use programming interfaces—from block coding to full code writing—make learning how to program the robot easy and advance with students. They can also use Auto Position in the computer app to simply move the digital robot’s arms and legs to create a routine for the real robot. All pieces attach via EZ-bit connectors that slide into place to create secure links when building arms and legs. Individual kit includes everything needed for a small group of students to create and code one robot. The Group Pack includes 5 robot kits plus additional motors, batteries, chargers, and unlimited software installations, allowing every student in class to get involved in lessons and activities. Recommended for Middle School and up.
